Sick person in custody died in public hospital

     A sick person in custody from Stanley Prison died in a public hospital today (December 18).

     The 65-year-old male person in custody was sent to the public hospital for treatment yesterday (December 17) because of sickness.  He was certified dead at 10.55am today.

     The case has been reported to the Police. A death inquest will be held by the Coroner's Court.

     The person in custody was sentenced to imprisonment for 22 years for an offence of trafficking in dangerous drugs.
