Traffic accident involving CSD vehicle

     At 8.16am today (March 10), two females aged 37 and 46 out of nine remand persons in custody felt unwell after a traffic accident involving a Correctional Services Department (CSD) vehicle at Kwun Tong Road.

 

     The correctional officers on board immediately called for reinforcement. Except for the two female remand persons in custody who felt unwell, the remaining seven were transferred by another CSD vehicle to their respective institutional hospitals for examination. The officers on board and the seven remand persons in custody were not injured.

 

     In the incident, the two female remand persons in custody who claimed to be unwell were subsequently sent to a public hospital for examination. No abnormal findings were detected after the examination and they were transferred back to their institution.

 

     The case was reported to the Police.
