Correctional officers intercept smuggling of suspected dangerous drugs into institution

     Correctional officers at the main gate of Tong Fuk Correctional Institution seized a small quantity of suspected dangerous drugs inside a book brought by a female visitor during a security check at 11.20am today (September 3). She planned to hand in the book to a person in custody after the visit.

     Correctional Services Department immediately referred the case to the Police for further investigation.
