Rehabilitation Officers (welfare and counselling) provide assistance and guidance to prisoners in handling problems and difficulties arising from imprisonment. Other than providing individual and group counselling, Rehabilitation Officers (welfare and counselling) organize and co-organize with non-government organizations, volunteers and prison visitors in the provision of rehabilitation and reintegration programmes.
