Since 2006, the Department has implemented the Risks and Needs Assessment and Management Protocol for Offenders, with a view to identifying the rehabilitative needs and the re-offending risks of persons in custody. The players and “Captain Gor” will be invited into correctional institutions to meet with four persons in custody who feel uncertain about their future, matching each of them with appropriate rehabilitation programmes and helping them find the right direction in life, so that they can reintegrate into society smoothly.
