The chronology, spanning two walls of about four metres long, displays 25 important events since the renaming of the Department. Apart from the Department's breakthroughs in various fields, it also covers the ebbs and flows gone through with the Motherland and the people of Hong Kong over the years. Simply by touching the year projected on the wall, visitors will be shown details of the important events in that year, so that they can get a more thorough understanding of the centre's theme "Home‧Nation‧Corrections".
