Misconduct of visitor in Lo Wu Correctional Institution

     A visitor displayed misconduct at the Visit Registration Centre of Lo Wu Correctional Institution today (March 10) after the article he intended to bring into the institution was rejected.

     At about 1.13pm, the male visitor requested to visit a female person in custody at the Visit Registration Centre. He turned emotional suddenly when the article he brought in could not pass the security check. He swore abusive words towards the staff at scene. He even created disturbance and caused interruption to other visitors inside the centre.

     The officers at scene stopped him and reported the incident to the Police. The man eventually left the institution after he was given a verbal warning by the police officer.
