Officer - Final Interview

The Final Interview (FI) for applicants of the post of Officer will be held in the Hong Kong Correctional Services Academy (location map).

• Impromptu Talk

  Candidates will be given three minutes to prepare before being arranged to deliver a talk in English on a chosen topic for three minutes.

• Individual Interview

  Questions to be asked during an Individual Interview will cover the candidate’s background, his/her knowledge about the Department, scenario-based questions and current affairs, etc.

When attending the FI, applicants are required to produce the original copies of the academic certificates and provide a set of photocopies of such certificates to prove that they have met the entry qualifications and language proficiency requirements for the post of Officer.

All FI for the day will be postponed when typhoon signal No. 8 or above, and/or rainstorm signal “Black” is in forced at 0700 hrs. In such circumstances, the applicants concerned will be informed of the re-scheduled dates for the interviews and any subsequent arrangements as soon as possible.
